Run DLL as an App error in Add/Remove Programs

HELP!!! When I try to remove programs in Control Panel (using Add or Remove
Programs), I can't because I get a "Run a DLL as an App has encountered a
prooblem."

I can't seem to figure out hown to solve the problem, and I can't install
PC-cillin unless I can first uninstall Norton AV.

I run Windows XP Home SP2.

Thanks for your help.

Hello,

Try if you can open it through the run menu. Start > Run > appwiz.cpl
You can also try using the Uninstaller in 3rd party applications such as
CCleaner (http://www.ccleaner.com/) then once you install just click on
tools > and choose the program and click on the 'Run Uninstaller' button. It
does the same thing as the add and remove panel does... basically both find
the uninstaller and run it.
