My c drive crashed and i cannot access any programs when i try iget cannot
find run.dll 32 error i have xp home installed. and had to reload the os on
my e drive but i have manyprograms i cant access on c that i would hopefully
like to salvage

You can't remove or reuse applications unless you have kept their
installation CD or the setup/installation file. It is impossible and too
complex being there are numerous changes done to the registry on the OS that
the programs were on. Since you reinstalled the OS on another HDD
different registry.

Didn't you say the original drive the programs are on crashed anyway? That
is a high expectation in the first place.

Then come back with all the necessary details. Some of the things we'll
want to know:

1. What exactly does "my c drive crashed" really mean?
2. What troubleshooting have you already done?
3. Did you scan with a current version av using updated definitions?

You will have to reinstall any programs from the installation media
(cd's or install executable). You can transfer data by copying it. You
will probably have to take ownership of it on the new install.
