I Installed windows update and it messed up my computer

When I updated I reboot my pc and the loging on was slower and
a lot of the programs had errors like userinit.exe and run.dll,
thats only some of the problems.Now my computer is slower then ever. Im
running windows Xp Pro. What should i do to fix it?

Uninstall the update.
 
What update? Microsoft releases several update monthly and has released 2
service packs already.
 
This can happen with multipe updates and the order they were installed.
I ended up backing a large group of updates back out, and then installing a
few at a time until I found the troublemakers.
The custom option is used, and you should also check to see what is shown as
installed, any failures, etc.
 
I would recommend the last one before this problem started. That is good
trouble shooting.
