Rules

Hello All
I am using Outlook Express with Windows2000.

Is there a maximum number of rules that I can have?

I would like to create a folder for each of my 150-or-so 'clients', and then
to have a rule for each that would move any emails from a client to their
respective folder. There would also be a few 'general' rules (i.e. to be
applied to all clients), like print all messages containing "xxx" in the
subject, etc.

Before I go to the bother of creating all these folders and rules I thought
it would be wise to check if I'm likely to have any problems getting them
all to work RELIABLY!

Is there any reason I should move to Outlook (I use Office Professional97)?
Currently I use Outlook Express because it works better (thanOutlook) with
these newsgroups etc.!

I would be very grateful for any comments, advice or suggestions.

Many thanks
Leslie Isaacs

Ask in an Outlook Express newsgroup.

Since Outlook doesn't handle newsgroups at all (it uses Outlook Express to
read them), unless you need Calendaring, Task Management, or one of the
other features of Outlook, what other reasong could there be? Certainly
Outlook 97 is long obsolete and often can't work with current ISP connection
methods anyway (it can't authenticate to outgoing servers).
