I have a mailbox that seems to be processing rules even
though I am on a different client. Is there a way to
disable "server side" rules or stop the rules from being
applied when entering Outlook 2000? I am the Exchange
Administrator.

If you logon to the Exchange mailbox with Outlook, you should be able to
disable the rules via the Rules wizard by unchecking the box next to the
rule you don't want to run.

Should have told you. This is an archive mailbox that has
thousands of e=mails. I need to do it without going into
the client, or at least stop them from happening when I do
since it is trying to sort the e-mails from a previous
configuration. At least that's what I am assuming is
happening. I try to open and it goes to limbo land but
the number of messages start reducing automatically.
Please send a notification that a post is updated to
(e-mail address removed). Otherwise I have no way of knowing
that you have replied.
