Rules Help

Earlier I asked how to keep Outlook from leaving a message in the inbox when
a rule is created to move it to another folder. The messages move, but a
copy is left in the Inbox.

The only reply I got was "Make sure your rules end in a Stop Processing
action." and that didn't help me at all.

How do I get Outlook to stop leaving a copy of the message in the Inbox
after the rule moves the message to another folder?

As you're creating your rules, one of the check boxes along the way will say
"Stop processing" additional rules. What he meant was check that box.

When you're making your rule, the first screen telling WHICH messages to
apply the rule to, and the next screen tells WHAT to do with the selected
rule. Look on that screen -- check the appropriate box for choosing what
the rule should do, and then also check the box that says "Stop processing
additional rules."
