When I am out-of-office, I am able to retrieve my emalis via Exchange

What shall I do so that I can make my MS Outlook rules enabled or worked
when connected via the link?

Thanks

What kind of rules? Most rules are running server side when using Outlook
icw Exchange so they even work when Outlook is closed.

Tips of the month:
-FREE tool; QuickMail. Create new Outlook items anywhere from within Windows
-Properly back-up and restore your Outlook data

For e.g. i have created a rule in which all mails i receive from person A
should go into a folder named A.
I want to execute similar rule in OWA without again creating it manually

That kind of rule should already execute when the contact is stored in the
Contacts folder and the folder is in the Exchange mailbox. Check in Outlook
whether the rule hasn't got tagged to run on the client only.
