Anyone know of any way to create a rule to selectively delete messages with the attachment alert.txt. All other emails with attachments I would want to keep.
You can't. Look for other possibilities to filter on. It sounds like you are
using McAfee and are trying to filter thr virus notifications. Ask your
administrator if he/she can set a modified subject as well. Something
like -**VIRUS**- should give you a good word to filter on.
