Rules - delete old

Hi

I'm running outlook 2003 on xp home and have a problem with my msg rules. I
cannot delete the old rules, old as in I recently changed email addresses
and deleted/created inbox folders etc and now find I cannot delete the rules
associated with the old folders/addresses. They appear greyed out so I
don't have the option to delete them. Can anyone point me in the right
direction pls
