Rule to move email only copies it

I set up a seperate mail folder for my MS news letters and created a rule that says any mail arriving through my xxx mail box that is from MS shoud be moved to my MS folder. The rule works but it only makes a copy. I have the mail in 2 locations, the xxx inbox and the MS mail folder. I don't want the mail left in my xxx box. How do I fix this?

Is this your only message rule you've got configured? Also do you move the
message within the same pst-file/Exchange mailbox or is the MS folder a
separate pst-file?

Yes, I move the file within the same PST file and I have multiple rules. Also I'm not using an exchange server. Everything is local.

Try including the "delete it" condition in the rule.
