rule to filter alias

M

MS-News

I deleted a exchange account and added that email address to another user as
an alias or extra smtp account in exchange. I tried seting a rule that
would move all emails to that alias into a specified folder.
I have been unsuccessful so far. The to field contains the actual account
holder name not the alias and I havent seen any way to filter a rule to pull
this. Any suggestions welcom.
the client end is outlook 2003 and the server is exchange 2003.

thanks

unless senders use the old address or the SMTP server stamps the actual to
address, no.

I use a script from vamsoft.com to add the sender ip, sender address and to
address to all inbound messages for similar reasons.
