Rule - Rich Text to HTML

I like the preview pane in Outlook 2007, but it only works for attachments when the email is HTML or plain text, not rich text. I have searched for a way around this to no avail, so I thought I would just create a rule to convert rich test messages to HTML if they had attachments, but don't see any options in the rules setup that would cover this. Anybody ever tried this or know of a way to accomplish this

You need to use VBA to convert messages, not rules, and I'm not sure it
works to convert RTF to HTML. If you set outlook to always read mail using
plain text, you can preview the attachments. One click in the infobar will
convert the messages to HTML - so it just depends which is more important
and saves more time - opening attachments or switching to HTML.
