Rule keeps getting turned off

I only have one rule setup and it works fine most of the time however it
keeps getting turned off - when I check the rule ever so often it has gotten
"unchecked". so I check the box to turn on the rule again and it will work
for a while but eventually will turn itself off again.

Please advice

What does the rule do?
What version of Outlook?
What type of mail server (pop, imap, exchange)?

Lets start with those basics.

1. Copies any sent message to the PST folder
2. Outlook 2007
3. Exchange

Ok, that sort of rule would be client only. Are you logging into Outlook
(not OWA) from a different machine, or using a different profile on the same
machine? If you do that, and the rule (would) fire(s), that rule would get
disabled.

Another possibility is if the PST gets locked by some process, like an A/V.

Does the rule ever fire properly?
