I am 1 of 7 people who have access to a shared mailbox. We have set up
subfloders to organize the incoming messages, however i have to manually run
the rules message inorder for the messages in the inbox to be moved into the
appropriate subfolder. The rule for my personal inbox work fine, does this
have to do with the fact that multiple people have access to the box?

Can different users have different rules set up for a shared mailbox or will
that cause the rule not to work?

The rules are set up on my PC for the shared inbox. Should they be set up
somewhere else?

Where is the rule configured? on the shared mailbox or on your mailbox?

Are you using Exchange? If so, they need to be in the shared mailboxes
account.
