Hi, I have an K7VZA Mainboard and got a new RTL 8139D network card.
When I'm plugging the card in one of the pci slots windows will break
off starting up after a while. Plugging the card out of the computer
will make the system run again properly.
Any ideas? Thanks.

Hi, Jack,
tx for the answer, but there was no ghost. The problem exists in an
earlier state of installation. Even booting from the original windows
cd to make a fresh system did not work. I tried knoppix and there was
no problem! That's what I'm worried about.

Than I changed the BIOS settings from automatic to fixed IRQ and now
everything is working fine.
Regards
