Rt-Clk & Paste starts W Installer

If I Rt-Clk either mouse or paste using Edit
Menu/Ctl-V, I see
http://web.tampabay.rr.com/server/ExportData/Rt-clk+PasteProblem.gif

I clk CANCEL & the paste/rt-clk menu acts normal.
Strange indeed!

I recently deleted 500+ Reg keys that contained 'Adobe'
(both PS + Reader v6 were supposedly uninstalled) in an
attempt to install Reader v7 which thinks that v6 is
still there! So I restored a backup from 4/29 that
would also restore C:\Documents and Settings\.

Pardon my French but I dont know whether 'to shit or go
blind' :)

Your help is MUCH appreciated. Thanks- bye- Larry

Any advise is my attempt to contribute more than I have received but I can only assure you that it works on my PC. GOOD LUCK.

Looks like Windows is trying to complete something only partially
done. Google might help.

Greetings & thank you for your response.

Used ATI routine to delete their driver then installed v6.4
which fixed problem.

Your help is MUCH appreciated. Thanks- bye- Larry

Any advise given is my attempt to show appreciation for all
the excellent help I've received here but I'm no MVP so it
may only apply NUGS (Normally, Usually, Generally, Sometimes :)
