I just use Thunderbird - great email and newsgroup client, plus it reads
RSS feeds.
Not sure if it's the "best", but it seems pretty damn good and it works
for me.

any feeds from FULLXML websites at all?
Example;

I know there are a couple of bits in the feeds like the /language
and that, that need correcting, but even correcting those bugs I've
found, the RSS output in my own FullXML site won't show in
FeedReader even though it validates at http://feedvalidator.org/ and
http://rss.scripting.com.
