ok, so i am obviously no web programmer. know nothing about xml (rss
is not pure xml but only a subset, IIRC).

is there an rss creator to create the xml needed for newsfeeds?

i wish to put something some kind of rss feed up on my own site (no
its not another dime a dozen freeware site but another dime a dozen
retro site)

is there such a program ?

can open office do this ?

(sorr for the dbl post - teranews timed out on me)

What is your input coming from?

Most RSS creation scripts are coupled to site management systems, but it's
not too difficult to write one that creates an RSS from a CSV file for
example (if that doesn't exist already).

Not without some "programming".

Open a Yahoogroup, set membership and messages as availble to anyone,
set yourself to moderate messages sent to the group. Yahoogroups will
provide an RSS feed for your group.

yahoo groups isn't what it used to be. not only now you have to agree to
their privacy statements but so does everyone who joins your group. before
only the moderator had to.
