RRAS not allowing access to shared folders files

I setup a windows 2000 Server running IIS. It allows clients to authenticate
and gives out the proper IP information. Clients are connected and can ping
all network resources. Clients can access company exhange server for email
and company intranet page.

However, when they browse network neighborhood, nothing is showing on the
domain, and they cannot map a drive, or connect to a shared folder with the
unc path. The client's dialup connection is configured as a client for
microsoft networks and to use file and printer sharing. If I use the reg LAN
connection the client can browse to everything. Am I missing a small setting
in RRAS that is not allowing the clients to see/access the shared resources?

No, it is not a setting in RRAS. Network Neighborhood uses the computer
browser service, which depends on broadcasts. It will not work on a routed
network without WINS. Even with WINS, browsing a WAN can be a problem.

You should be able to see shares using net view \\servername and map
them using net use \\servername\filename .

hmmmm....Perhaps my clients are getting WINS populated....Is there a way in
RRAS to send WINS addresses to the conencting clients? I can't access
anything through UNC path either ie
start>run>\\server\fileshare...........Also, other clients on the LAN cannot
access the shared folders of the dialed in RRAS clients. I must be missing
something stupid.

anyone else have any other ideas? you cannot access any resources via
\\servername\shared folder or \\ip address\shared folder, and you cannot
access them from the dialed in client or other workstations on the
LAN.......dialed in clients can ping everything and are able to access
company intranet and exchange server.......
