RRAS cosole does not provide acess

i have installed win2k server with SP4. now i want to configure my server as a router( 2 NICs Installed ). but when i open the RRAS console and click on server name. it gives and error that u dont have the access to view the properties page of the server, and i m logged on as administrator. how can i do it now

solution to the problem will be highly appreciated

Check that the remote registry service is running. You need this, even if
the console and RRAS are on the same machine.

Rock on, Mr. Grant! This worked instantly. I was
having the same problem as shahid. Should have known to
check the services I had played around with a few weeks
ago. Thank you!

Also, as a future MCSE-er, I'm really curious how in the
world you knew this...if you don't mind sharing. Remote
Registry is not listed in RRAS's Dependencies, and vice
versa, so...?

It has come up previously in the newsgroup. The reason you need it is that
the MMC uses remote calls to configure RRAS, because they need not be on the
same machine.
