RPC Shutdown

It seems every post at the moment is about the same
problem. When are microsoft (or anyone else) going to tell
us in plain english what's going on and how to fix it???

The fix was available a long time ago. It seems though most people refused
to secure their computers properly. Perhaps now they will be installing up
to date AV and firewalls. I have not had the problem and I haven't even
installed any 'patches'.
