rpc server unavailable

hi
using winxp pro. When I try to install a printer driver, i get error message
"RPC server unavailable".
I have checked the services are running in services.msc/msconfig.

I think the RPC is corrupted. How can I reinstall fully RPC.

Thanks for any help
 
Check if the print spooler service is running. Maybe that's the problem.
 
can you please tell me how to check if the print spooler service is running. am not very educated with computers we dont get on. thanks alot
