RPC Server not available.

Replication is not working. When I try to force replicate
through a network connection I get the message. The
following message came up. "The following error occured
during the attempt the domain controllers: The RPC serve
is unavailable. The server are registered in DNS. The
server that can't be replicate at all has service pack 2.
Is there any other fix known out there besides updating to
service pack 3. I'd like to know.

Hi Alex,

Is the RPC Service running on all DCs? Can your DCs ping the domain name
(and get a reply from a valid IP address)? Can the DCs ping each other by
FQDN? Make sure your firewall is not blocking TCP port 135 or TCP/UDP 88.

Also check to make sure that the domain controllers registered an
SRV record. Are you using AD integrated DNS?
