Replication Issues

I am having problems replicating AD objects to our remote
domain controllers. We only have 1 domain. In sites and
service when I force replication from the remote sites to
the Global Catalog Server I recieve the following
message:

The following error occured during the attempt to contact
the domain controllers; The RPC server is unavailable.

But I can force replication from the global catalog
server to the remote server. Replication seem to only be
working 1 way. If I make changes on the remote DC it will
not replicate to the global catalog servers. I have tried
relpmon and netdiag to no avail. Does any body have any
suggestions?

Is DNS configured and working properly?

What type of connection do you have between sites? Fast
(T1 or greater) & reliable?

Is DCOM enabled?
