RPC-HTTP connectivity problem

I configured RPC-HTTP succesfully and it has been running fine up until
yesterday. Now whenever I open outlook using rpcdiag, the interface column
is blank, Conn columnis blank, status column says 'connecting'. It doesnt
make the connection though.

When I connect to our domain via VPN - the connection goes through fine.
Does this sound like a firewall problem? If not can anyone offer any
suggestions?

Thanks,
Grant

it uses port 80 so it shouldn't be the firewall. What url are you using to
connect? is it accessible from where you are, using your current connection
method.

Dont you mean the HTTPS port?

Thing is, OWA which worked fine before doestn work either. I get to the
front page, type in my credentials and it just sits there.

I have another Exchange proxy server which is redirecting to the backend
server fine so it must be something to do with this particular front end.

depends on the configuration.. it could be http or https.

since owa also fails, it's something in the infrastructure, not outlook.
