Hello,

I have excel 2002.

If I have say 100 words in the first row one in ecah column and now I want
to copy the same words to have them going down the worksheet is there an
easier way then copy and paste 100 times?

Thanks,

If I understand, copy all the words in the row, select a cell below the row,
say A2 and select Edit>Paste special>Transpose (Checked)

If you know how to Copy, Paste Special, Value, it's similar. Copy across all
of the wanted cells in the row. Go the first cell where you want to start
pasting the data, go to Past Special, check the Transpose box, OK. Your
copied data from the same row should now be in the same column. This also
works with Cut - Paste Special, Delete - Paste Special, etc.

If you have two or more rows, this works the same pasting the Transposed
data from row into columns.
