Hello,
I have set a router (DLINK DSL G624T) at home and with my personal
computer all works fine.
Instead my laptop isn't able to access to internet. It connects at the
lan and it's possible either to change the router configuration via
browser (at the specific ip) but when I try to go on internet with some
browser (I tryed with ie,firefox and opera) I receive no answer and the
request fails for timeout.
I tryed to disable the antivirus and the firewall and to insert the
local ip of laptop to the "DMZ" but this didn't solve the problem.

Anyone have some suggest?!

Bye!

p.s. I'm sorry for my bad english

Have you configured the router to allow more then a single computer to pass
through to the internet . I don't know which setting menu it would be under
in the router. This setting is configured if you would like just a single
computer to access the net or to have more then one computer pass through as
a single IP.

Hopefully that will help you to break on through to the other side.

Sounds like a problem with the DNS on your laptop. try connecting to
http://216.109.112.135 (yahoo's ip address).

Try using a static IP & DNS (the ip address of your router) address on the
laptop. If that fails find the IP address of the DNS of your ISP from your
router config page and try using as your DNS on the laptop.

I think there might be a problem with DLINK and DNS if you have a version on
iTunes installed too.

Hope this helps
