Router or Switch?

I have a small network that uses class B ip addresses that is
connected to the internet through a firewall. I want to take a few
computers and get them onto a class C 192.x.x.x subnet. The systems
will need to access the internet and the local network. Would a
switch or a router be the better choice.

You'll need a router. Can your firewall not handle another interface?
