Router Issue.

Hello,

I am running XP Pro, and I have just installed XP SP2-RC2
a few days ago, and ever since its install, I have been
experiencing difficulties access my router; bottom line, I
can't access it. Period.

I can, however, access it from another computer running
Windows 2K Pro. The only thing I can't access from my
machine is, my router.

Any ideas on how I can address this issue?

SP2 RC2 is not supported yet...but , since it installed updated internal
firewall features (on by default) I would suspect you need to look there.

Works OK from my XP SP2 RC2 PC. Like Haggis, I suspect the new firewall
has not been set to allow access to your router.

Hello, Haggis,

I have the internal firewall turned off, and yet nothing.
I still cannot get into my router. In fact, I never had
that firewall turned on, I always depend on my router to
protect my box from harm, and so far, it's doing a very
good job. I just want to be able to access it from my
current computer.
