im connecting the internet to a computer which is using
the host to connect to the net not the router(e.g modem-
computer(host)-router-computer(client) When I click on the
connection on the host computer to "allow other computers
to access the internet though this computer" it comes up
saying that there is another devgice using the IPA it
needs 192.168.0.1. This is the IPA of the router which is
being used so windows therfore cant use it as something
else is. Hence the message box coming up saying so.How can
I get around this??

Thanks All

Chris

Either use ICS or the router to provide your LAN with Internet access. You
cannot use both ICS and the router at the same time to do the same thing.
Connect your router to the cable modem then connect both computers to the
router. Do not turn on ICS on either computer.
