Rounding Issues

Can someone guide me on how to turn off the rounding feature within Excel.
I've got Office 2007 and it appears that this is the default setting.
Example, I select quotient option and it states that it "Returns the interger
portion of a division". If I divide 22.5 by 3.05 it returns the interger
portion of the division which is 7 - I want to get 7.37. I have tried most of
the help topics on this, but still can't get it to work. Is it a setting or
could it be the way in which I am entering the data?

Instead of

=QUOTIENT(A1,A2)

use

=A1/A2

even simpler, isn't it?
