round button for unhiding is missing

It sounds like your talking about the quickstart .. right
click on task bar select properties and select quick
start. it should come back.

Thank you for trying to help me, but I was referring to
the little round button near the clock that you click on
when you want to see any "hidden" items that you haven't
used for an hour or so. I don't use the "Quick Launch"
features, but I know they appear on the left side of the
taskbar.
