Rotating text

I teach a class that lets college students "feel-somewhat"
what it could be like to have a learning disability. I
want to take text in Word (or even Powerpoint for that
matter)and make it "flip" backwards - so you would have to
use a mirror to read it. I have done this in a program
called Appleworks but am trying to do this with Word.
Thanks,
Larry

Hi, Larry,

Word doesn't have any way to reverse text, only rotate it 90 degrees
left or right. However, you can get a font called Times Mirror in
which each character is mirror-imaged. It's available for download at
http://www.twinmedia.net/abfonts/html/t3.htm, and as far as I can tell
it's not copyrighted.

You would have to type the text in the reverse order, or use a macro
to do that, so that the words will run right to left.

If you want to take regular text and *print* it reversed on paper,
look at the dialog you get by pressing the Preferences button in the
File > Print dialog. Some printer drivers have a "mirror image" or "T
shirt decal" option that can flip the whole page. But this won't
appear flipped on the screen.

Hi there,

Or you could select your text, copy it, paste special as a bitmap, then flip
the bitmap.
