Romaing Profiles

I need to turn on roaming profiles across a 300 user
network. Never done roaming profiles before. As I
understand it, you create a profile Admin, use that to
make a template profile, then put that template in all
the user directories, and then point hte profile path in
each user account to the profile, correct?

Is there an easier way to do this? I dont want to
manually make 300 new directories, and go through ever
single user account.

Roaming profiles need a shared network folder where you can keep the user's
profiles. first create a shared folder on your profiles server, once
created, you can now create a "template" account with all the roaming
profiles setting. in the template account, put the
\\profileservername\sharedfoldername\%username% in the profiles path, where
profile server name is the server where you created the shared folder and
the shared folder name. the %username% counter will give the user name once
you start to copy this template to your new production user accounts.
make sure you test this first in lab!
