My wife recently bought a laptop and is having trouble using hotmail. When
she clicks on 'new' to compose an e-mail then 'to' the automatic loading of
the addressee doesn't seem to link with her Contacts file. Instead there is a
file - genuine enough in that it has a list of her contacts - but seems to be
in the machine as well as the true Contacts file.
This other file needs to be removed but I cannot find any means of deleting
it - the l names in it don't seem to have a way to be deleted individually
and I simply cannot trace the file anywhere to allow me to delete it as a
whole. I have tried the things I know about - 'Search' and looking in all the
places I think it might be. The only identification I can trace is the web
address when it is on screen. This is
http://by128w.bay128.mail.live.com/mail/EditMessageLight.aspx?n=1142212085.
Can anyone help us with this problem? I could solve it by using the recovery
disc and starting all over again but only want to do this if there is no
alternative.
All and any advice would be appreciated.
Thank you.
