Roaming Profile with Printers problem

Hi Guys

We are having some wierd problems with our roaming profiles with printers.

Windows 2003 Server (Active Directory)
Windows XP Pro Sp2

Printers (all printers are Xerox dc286 (TCP/IP connection, not LPT.) ) are
setup as local printers on all pc's

Users continually lose their default printer (there are 3 printers available
for all pcs) or, even more oddly, their printer may occasionally print in
some extremely tiny font.

All other parts of their roaming profiles work correctly.

Can anybody help us with this one? Thanx

First (and perhaps OT) question: since you have a domain, it would be a lot
easier to set up a print server & share the printers - and have all users
use the network printers, rather than the admin headache of a lot of
local/TCP/IP port printers..... you can control everything centrally,
including driver updates & printer setup stuff. I wouldn't want to manage a
lot of local printers, if it were me.

Second: any userenv errors in the event logs?

Thirdly: everyone using up to date drivers?
