roaming profile problems

Hi,

we have 2 win2k terminal servers and a winnt pdc. we also
have a win2k file server for user's home and profile.
lately i've been seeing messages like these:

"Windows did not load your roaming profile and is
attempting to log you on with your local profile. Changes
to the profile will not be copied to the server when you
logoff. Windows did not load your profile because a server
copy of the profile folder already exists that does not
have the correct security. Either the current user or the
Administrator's group must be the owner of the folder.
Contact your network administrator."

is there a way to troubleshoot this? any help/pointers
would be greatly appreciated.

There are several issues with profiles. Could you post the
EventIDs and Event Sources of these messages?

Have you tried to delete the locally cached copy of the roaming
profile? It sounds as if the user is not the owner of this cached
copy.
