Roaming Profile doesn't show the wallpaper

Hi,
I've just setup a roaming profile. And linked the user to that profile.
Everthing seems fine. But when I try to change the wallpaper using that login
name, the wallpaper doesn't show. Actually there is no wallpaper on the
screen.
Then I change be the profile to local profile, the wallpaper shows.
What should I do to make the wallpaper works with a roaming profile?

some more info.
Domain: Win2K AD
Client OS: WinXP Pro.

Other then the wallpaper problem. I also found that I moved the icon to a
suitable location, after I logout and logon again, all icon get back to their
"auto-arranged" place. That's not the way I want.

I want to set the Wallpaper, I want to fix the icon at where it should be.
But I cannot get it done with roaming profile...

pls help.

I got it fixed.
The problem is because I linked the user to a profile that is not belongs to
him. Stupid~~
