Rise of nations problem

Hi,
I'm having trouble playing this game,its slow when I'm
playing it.The more poeple you have eg:farmers soldiers
tanks etc the slower it goes can anyone tell me why and
how to fix it if possible??
everything else is fine except it crashes back to the
desktop once in a while.
 
Sounds like your processor or video card can't handle all
the action. check and see what the minimum requirements
are for the game and if your computer barely meets those
requirements. If that's the case it might be time to
upgrade.
