Rise of Nations

Whenever I try to play rise of Nations Conqueror the World
campaign RON quits and brings me to my desktop. I
downloaded and installed the patch that said it was
supposed to fix the crash v1.02 but it still doesn't work
for me. Everything else in RON works except for the
Conqueror the World campaigns which has never worked. I
have my display set to 32-bit and i tried to run it on 16-
bit (I changed it in both the game and on my computer) but
it didn't work either way. Is there some way to fix this?

Erica,

There are known problems with certain graphics cards.
If you have one of them, the game exhibits the problems
you refer to. I know, because I have had the problem with
an ATI Rage 128.

The only thing to do (currently) is replace the graphics
card. It only affects the game in campaign mode for some
strange reason.
