RIS with Intel Pro/100 VE

Hi having difficulties getting RIS to pick up my PNP Nic
drivers. I've created the path as $oem$\$1\drivers and
have the answer file pointing to it.

It goes through process ok, then says the image doesn't
contain the drivers. I know the driver is right, am
I doing something wrong???

the $OEM$ folder should be in the same level as the i386 folder

You need also to copy the driverss into the flat i386 folder and
restart the binlsvc (remote installation service in 2003)

Andrew,

I had the same problem. I am using an INtel 845bg, which has that
integrated nic. Hear is what I did.

1.Downloaded the Intel Nic drivers from Intel's site.
2. Extract them and then use the Make disk utiltiy to create a floppy disk
that contains the nic driver files
3, Copy the files and place them in the i386 folder. Be sure to say "Yes"
if prompted to overwrite any of the files.
4. Stop and then restart the Binlsvc service.
5 restart the RIS install.

This worked for me and I have not had any trouble since then. I picked
another intel board with that same integrated nic and the RIS install went
without a hitch.
