Your cd-based image of the XP OS will install on the same spectrum of
hardware that the actual cd will, in some cases you will need the OEM
drivers to make this work. If you install XP from a CD and all if fine,
then your RIS installation will usually be problem free as well.
If you want custom installations with your own settings and software
pre-installed, then we want RIPREP images. The problem with those is the
HAL must be the same as the RIPREP machine from which you made the image.
The hard drive in your RIS client must be at least as big as the RIPREP
machine from which you made the image.
