RIPREP error

I'm trying to image a customized windows 2k pro sp3 pc to
a win2k server sp3. After installing the applications and
making the configuration changes for a user I run RIPREP
and everything works fine.

However when I try to RIPREP after I copy the configured
user profile to the default user profile using the
profiles tab of the system utility,
I get the following error message after RIPREP "Copy
partition information" completes and "Copy files to
server" starts:

"THe system cannot find the path specified.
To retry the operation, click RETRY
To ignore the error and continue copying, click IGNORE
TO cancel all operations and restart the computer, click
ABORT"

It gives notice that it can't find various system files if
you continue and then restarts with no image created. I
also tried running RIPREP with just a few valid registry
entries to the default user hive(I tested them and they do
work) I get the same problem. Once again when using the
standard unchanged default user profile, everything works
fine. I've searched all the usual avenues and haven't a
solution for this.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Give us the exact list of changes you make to the user profile before
copying it to default user.

When copying a profile to default user profile, set the
who can use box to everyone or riprep won't recognize it.
