Please I need help with somethin (rather dumb)

I purchased a 3-cd-case that contains 3 cd's (of course), in them there are
5 different albums form the same artist. The problem is that some of those
albums are contained (in parts) in two cd's i.e: tracks 1-3belong to Album
"A" and tracks 4 - 12, belong to Album "B" and tracks 12-18 belong to Album
"C", I have entered the song's title, Artis, Composer, ect. but all of them
have the same Album Title.

The 3-cd case is a legal copy, is an original "compendium" of all the
artist's albums, but instead of having them all mixed up (as they are) I want
to create a particular file for each album.

I would appreciate very much any help.

I'm not a big music fan, but I believe what you'll need to do is RIP the CDs as they are into your media library, then create playlists with the songs as they appear on the actual albums.

I know this is not detailed instructions, but it may get you going toward what you want.

You're on the right track (no pun intended), but the OP should be able to
selectively rip tracks to the folder(s) of his choosing, thus having tracks
1-3 on CD 1 and tracks 4-12 on CD 2 in the same folder.
