I am trying to learn how to use Media Player 9 in my XP home system and need
some help.
When I put a home-made music CD in my CD Rom drive and have Windows Media
Player open on the "Now Playing" tab, it shows a listing consisting of Track
1, Track 2, etc.
I discovered by right clicking on each item how to edit "Track one" into the
name of the song. However, on the right top corner, the CD is listed as
"Unknown Album (date)". Is there a way to edit this into the name of the
Album? The only option appears to go to the web and look for it, but
because this is a homemade album, it will not be on the web. Is there a way
I can edit this Unknown Album title similar to how I edited the track
titles?
Finally, I noticed that when I re-insert this music CD, Media Player seems
to recognize it and my edited track titles re-appear correctly. Where is
this information saved?
Thanks.
