I've just switched from MusicMatch to WMP 10. Using with a Dell DJ. Can
anyone, please, tell me if there's a way to rip a CD to my library without
having to play it?

thanks and sorry if it's a dumb question, I"m new at this.

Put the CD into the drive and Windows Media Player will probably start
ripping it automatically. All you have to do is click the STOP button in
WMP when it starts to play. It will still keep ripping the track even
though it's now not playing it.

Hi, you can also try another, free solution called Audiobrabber. You can
download it from www.audiograbber.com-us.net .Program is very easy to setup
and use, it's my favourite. You can choose whether you want to rip music
into the MP3, WMA, OGG or any other format (if you have codecs installed, of
course). I prefer to rip the music into the WAV format and then convert them
to MP3 with LameXP converter.
You can download it from http://www.free-codecs.com/download/LameXP.htm .
