Right side taskbar icons not hiding anymore

The icons on the right side by the clock are all showing all of a sudden.
The arrow that moves over them to hide them is gone. I have the "hide
taskbar icons" button checked. I haven't turned it off. I haven't been able
to do a successful system restore to get it back. Any suggesions? Thank you
very much in advance.

First of all, the option is called "Hide Inactive Icons" not "Hide Taskbar
Icons". Let me clear something you. The "Arrow" only comes up if there is
atleast one hidden inactive icon available in System Tray.

What you have to do to enable that "Arrow" is to change the System Tray
Icon's behavior.

1. Right-click on Taskbar and choose Properties.
2. From the Taskbar tab click "Customize" button.
3. Select an item from the list and set the "Behavior".

For checking purpose, select any item and set the behavior to "Always Hide".
Apply the settings and you will notice an "Arrow" in your System Tray.

Hope this is what you were missing, let us know!

Rajiv,

A comment about the .reg files, the instructions are a little vague. How
would I know what to with any of them? Double click the files after
downloading them? Or Right click them and select Merge? What if a warning
pops up? Should I click Yes or No?

Maybe the videos show all of that. :-)

It probably takes more work to keep up a web page then it does to come of
with the fixes. ;-)

I do not have nor want flash player.

So to answer your question, no I haven't watched it.

BTW, View | Source @
http://www.mindurbrain.zippyfreehost.com/index.htm And there was no offer
to install it for me. :-)

fpdownload.macromedia.com/pub/shockwave/cabs/flash/swflash.cab

which now resolves to

veFlash

hXXp://www.adobe.com/go/getflashplayer
also resolves to
hXXp://www.adobe.com/shockwave/download/download.cgi?P1_Prod_Version=Shockwa

I see this on a lot of web pages in View | Source:
hXXp://fpdownload.macromedia.com/pub/shockwave/cabs/flash/swflash.cab

That normally gets you the File Download popup for swflash.cab, the install
file for Flash. But I do not even get the offer any more. *eg*

The Flash Player is one of the most widely distributed POS on the internet.

First of all, thanks a lot for your nice response. I notice that you always
give a complete detail even a small bugs.

Regarding my web-site, once again a lot of thanks on your suggestions.
However, I am just testing the site and it is still under constructions.
After reading the thread posted by "missv_123", I was thinking about creating
a video so the visitor can understand what he/she has to do regarding the
problem.

As you mention, I will soon set all the instructions to Download a Flash
Player and using the .Reg files.

One more thing, should we discuss all those things here is there alternative
where I should contact you. I have a list of questions to ask about regarding
my web-site and how can improve it as well some other questions too.

Hi Ayush,

Are you able to see the another video about "Task Manager Border" or Not?
Let me know.

Something about ZippyFreeHost.com. Offer you all the feature a Paid Account
has except Your Choice Domain Name. Further, you are able to use FrontPage
Extension Service and .REG files as well.

Tell me more about my site, so I can improve it.

Hope you like it.

I have a similar problem but different and I need some help to figure it out.
I logged on to Outlook Express this morning to check me emails and noticed
that the right side was gone. The area that usually has, Inbox, Outbox,
Junk Mail, Folders, Deleted Messages, etc. I that shows now is the incoming
message and the date. How do I fix this. I have Outlook Express with Windows
Vista.
