Suddenly, when I right click on my desktop, the hour galss appears and
nothing happens. Sometimes, it disappears all by itself; but more often, it
crashes the sysetem and I must reboot. I have read that DivX / SP2 could be
the culprit -I deleted DivX with no results. I have run anti-virus,
anti-malware and spyware programs as well as trying Hi-Jack This -the problem
persisits. I have looked through my registry and various software programs
and have eliminated anything suspicious -still cannot right click! I though
I would just do a system restore -Windows says that it can not restore to
that point, no changes have been made. I am very frustrated! Anyone have
anyother ideas? Thanks in advance...

Say, Victor. You might check to see if you have any keyboard errors. Make
sure all of your hardware is plugged in good and functioning properly. Then
maybe run a repair from your Windows OS cd.

Thanks! Apparently it was because if the Microsoft patch veclsid.exe

I followed this individuals suggestion:

It is a MS screw up. Easy to resolve until they put out a patch to fix.

Go into C: then open windows folder. Open System32 look for veclsid rename
it veclsid.old

Simple as that. Good luck.

Well, it worked! Thanks again for helping me.
