right click

i have a wheel mouse optical mouse. for some reason when i
right click on anything, nothing happens. the left mouse
button works and the wheel works. i already followed the
trouble shooting steps in the windows help and i
uninstalled/reinstalled the intellipoint mouse software.
nothing worked. could anyone help me with this.
