Right Click/send to mail recipient

When I right click on a file and try to send the file to
a mail recipient nothing happens. If I open the file for
example a exel file I get this error.

** general mail failure. Quit microsoft office exel, and
restart the mail system, and try again. Any ideas on how
to correct this problem. I am using outlook 2003 and
everything works fine execpt for this.

Thanks

Are you using different versions of Excel and Outlook. Using different
versions of Office applications can sometimes cause problems.

Try and Send a Text file to see if the error still occurs.

You may also want to check to make sure that Outlook (not Outlook Express is
set as your default E-mail client). To do this, open Internet Explorer and
click
Tools-Options-Programs

thanks for your reply.....I got the whole package for
office 2003..Outlook 2003, exel 2003, powerpoint 2003..etc

I tried right clicking on a reg txt file and sending it
to a mail recipient. Nothing happens again.

I check the internet options and it has microsoft office
Outlook listed as the program used for email.

Any other ideas I can check?
